Bones Season 7 Saucy Premiere Spoiler Roundup
Filed Under: bones, career Posted On: 10-26-2011 No CommentsJudging by the wellspring of Bones chattering, it’s clear that Fox has released the beginning of Season 7 to the fourth estate! Spoiler-hungry Bones-ios will have a lot of outlets to choose from, but it’s our intention to do the hard work for you (because there’s nothing we love better than making life easier for our readers!).
If you’re looking to make a game out of it, Jim Halterman has you covered. Halterman puts up eleven possible spoilers and invites readers to guess the real ones. (A spoiler for the spoilers: True Bones fans will have no problem parsing through the fakes.)
But let’s get right down the nitty-gritty: The much-anticipated OFFICIAL coupling of Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel). Give Me My Remote took salivating fans’ questions on the matter, praising the partners’ dynamic as a couple, which allegedly remains refreshingly familiar. Just don’t expect any marriage talk off the bat.
A topic of discussion that isn’t off limits in the premiere? S-E-X. TV Line revealed this eye-popping quotation from Brennan to Booth: “I can always depend on you to assist when needed…sexually.” Buddy TV assures “‘shippers” that “there is most definitely affection on display,” he says, and we “need wait no longer than B&B’s first scene together to get a playful kiss.”
And while it be several eps before we meet Baby Bones #2, episode number one will introudce us to Hodgins (TJ Thyne) and Angela (Michaela Conlin)’s “freaking adorable” baby boy. Apparently, not everyone is feeling the baby bliss, as Cam (Tamara Taylor) will enact a “professional rule the new mother [Angela] and mother-to-be [Bones] may have some difficulty following,” BuddyTV reports. What? No Baby Bjorn banter in the lab? If so, we’re totally with her.
For those of us interested in crime and justice part of the show (yeah, remember that?), there’s sadly not much spoiler fodder other than Buddy TV’s decency to promise “among the most nauseating” human remains “in the show’s history.” (How is that even possible?)
Bones Buzz: Twins, Hormones, and… Cheating in Season 7
Filed Under: bones, micheala Posted On: 09-20-2011 No CommentsFresh off the gossip train with executive producer Hart Hanson and Tamara Taylor (Cam), Jim Halterman of JimHalterman.com proceeded to corner Michaela Conlin (Angela Montenegro Hodgins) and start digging at the recent Television Critics Association Fox party in Malibu.
As is her wont, Conlin almost immediately jumped into baby-talk. Turns out that the formidable actor playing Baby Hodgins is in fact a pair of actors, as Bones has hired twins to take on the job. “He is so cute,” Conlin gushes, “and he smells really good.” Not sure which twin she’s talking about…hopefully both of them!
We may be a little leery of the “dueling pregnancies” storyline, but Conlin has no complaints: “It’s been so much fun for me as an actress and a friend [to Emily Deschanel].” She promises that the pregnancy angle will be “lighter and more comedic,” with lots of talk about hormones and whatnot (gentlemen, now’s a good time to make more popcorn).
Of course, we can leave it to charmer/goofball Geoff Stults (Walter Sherman on Bones spinoff, The Finder) to upset the interview’s happy equilibrium when he strolled by and blithely suggested that Angela and Walter get together! And did Conlin stick up for slighted TV husband Jack Hodgins (TJ Thyne)? Absolutely not: “That would be fine with me.” The horror!

We’re almost ready to tear our hair out here — when it comes to Brennan (Emily Deschanel)’s and Booth (David Boreanaz)’s baby, we’re all but shrieking boy or girl?! The TV Addict, with ear firmly pressed to the fandom ground, made a valiant effort to cull some info yesterday.
The good news: Reliably gabby Michaela Conlin (Angela Montenegro Hodgins) informs us that “Booth and Brennan’s living situation will be made abundantly clear in the show’s first episode.” Well, that’s a sigh of relief, but it’s not what we’re looking for. And Conlin knows the baby’s sex (!!!), but it looks like executive producer Hart Hanson got to her since the last time she spilled the beans.
Indeed, Hanson’s got his staff “incredibly well-trained” — so barring a leak from on high, we likely won’t hear anything he doesn’t want us to. An example from Hanson himself: “The first scene shot [of Season 7] is going to amaze people, the show looks different.” Sigh… better go back to checking Stephan Nathan’s incomprehensible tweets.

Uh-oh! Executive producer Hart Hanson might be shouting from the rooftops that Bones is still a crime drama, but Michaela Conlin (Angela) is taking a swipe at his credibility!
Michael Ausiello at TV Line has the scoop: Now that Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Angela share the distinction of motherhood, they’ll have plenty to discuss beyond putrefied remains. “There’s [sic] been a lot of scenes with the two of them talking about strollers and baby gear,” Conlin reveals. “[T]hey’re talking about hormones, sleep patterns and names.” Hart Hanson, call your office!
No word on Bones Jr. yet, but Conlin makes it clear that we’ll be seeing plenty of Hodgela’s Baby Staccato: “I like that we’re seeing the baby a bit[.] It’s been fun for me to have a real, live child in my arms after so much talk about it.” We can see it now: “Don’t touch the skull, Michael! I’m reconstructing!”
